Improved Pulsed-Jet Cleaning of Cone Filter Cartridges Using an Annular-Slit Nozzle

There is a problem with the insufficient cleaning of dust filter cartridge by pulsed-jet method. This paper examines improvement in pulse-jet performance cone cartridges achieved using an annular-slit nozzle. Off-line pulse jet experiments were conducted to study influence initial compressed air pressure, distance, and Venturi tube on injection pressure. compared filtration conventional nozzles versus slit conducting online filtration-cleaning experiment investigating effect tube. The results demonstrated that produced nozzle had bigger surface area contact surrounding air, enhancing entrainment effect, boosting overall significantly elevating pressure upper middle section cartridge, particularly section.
